Cycle Awareness for drivers of Large Vehicles (LGV/HGV)
Half Day course for professional drivers of Large Vehicles
Consists of 1 hour presentation and 2 hour cycle lesson with special reference to Barclays Cycle Hire and Barclays Cycle Super Highways
The course examines issues faced by professional drivers who encounter cyclists during their work.
It seeks to enhance drivers awareness of cyclists vulnerability and address issues such as road positioning, signalling and Blind Spots

Bicycles, helmets and HI Viz Supplied
Developed by Cycling Instructor Ltd in collaboration with LB Southwark Road Safety
We have successfully delivered this course to drivers working for Veolia and Abellio and trained in excess of 50 drivers
It is designed to be delivered by a Road Safety Officer and National Standard Cycling Instructors
